The topic of the podcast is "Starting a Nonprofit Side Hustle." John explained the tax implications and legal steps to create and operate a nonprofit. John has extensive experience with nonprofits and tax-exempt organizations, as he regularly advises clients regarding the creation and operation of these entities. Additionally, John teaches Taxation of Nonprofits in a law school LL.M. program.
